I didn't know what in the world I was getting into since I'd never had a vibrator before, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Obviously something called the "pocket rocket" is NOT going to be quiet, despite what the packaging may say. Good news is, with a television or radio and maybe a blanket over you, it's easy to drown out. Great toy for solo or partner use, and it doesn't run out of batteries quickly at all. This was actually the second one i purchased - my previous lasted 5 years.

Lot easier to use than a Wahl but definitely does not have the power. Got my wife where she wanted to be but took quite awhile. If it doesn't plug into the wall I have yet to see anything with serious power.
